The past ten years should give us pause to take a focused look at the Book of Revelation, in particular chapters 12 & 13. The political events, especially in the United States of America, and the technological advances around the world have prompted alarm and confusion. People everywhere are trying to make sense of it all. And yet, shouldn’t we be expecting this sudden chain of events?

Please take some time to (re)read these two chapters along with many sacred scripture passages that were written to prepare us for this moment in the history of salvation. Our Lord Jesus Christ is always present to guide and protect our journey towards eternal life. In the Book of Genesis, on the cross in the Gospel of John, and in the Apocalypse, the Word of God reveals to us that Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ who is God, is also our Blessed Mother. She is God’s gift to us, particularly in this time of trial and tribulation. As the Woman clothed with the sun, may she intercede for us and help us to see clearly what we must do by the grace of God to remain faithful to our commitment to love, worship, serve and adore the Most Holy Trinity, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
